A Journey Through Precious Metals

Sterling Silver: Did you know that sterling silver is the most common metal used in jewelry making? It is made up of .925% silver, and .75% other base metals, usually copper. It is stronger than pure silver and gentle on skin, making it the perfect metal for jewelry.

Gold filled: Don’t confuse this with gold-plate. Gold filled is thick layers of gold that has been heated and mechanically bonded around a base metal of solid brass. Gold filled does not fade nor flake as does gold-plate. It can withstand soldering and filing and is an affordable alternative to solid gold.
